Piping Fabrication
Our Facility
With 35,000 square feet of shop space and 2 acres of laydown yard, our fab shop is the large enough to handle a wide variety of jobs. Positioned just seconds off of I-75 allows for easy access for shipments. We make continuous efforts to improve our shop's efficiency. Material handling is made easy with multiple overhead cranes. In order to increase our welding productivity, we have outfitted each welding station with bulk gas headers and have an in house bulk gas blending system with real-time gas quality analyzing.

Quality Work
Pride in our work, coupled with a highly trained and capable workforce, yields consistent, high quality, dimensionally exact fabrication day after day. PCI's fabrication shop routinely fabricates piping skids, and steel pipe supports for construction projects all over the nation. Our fab capabilities, however, are hardly limited to piping. While our pipe fab capabilities are very wide-ranging and include most metallurgies, pipe sizes up to 96" and all pipe schedules we also have the ability to produce various products from steel, pipe and other metals. We fabricate all types of industrial process piping, including: chemical, utility, and sanitary grades. Our 35,000 square foot shop is large enough to produce large volumes of fabrication quickly if the customer's schedule demands it.

Right Tools and Equipment
Process Construction has always and continues to be devoted to investing in the right equipment and tools to produce high-quality work while remaining competitive and efficient. With 35 welding machines and 20 positioners, we are set up to take on a wide variety of welding jobs. Tools such as our Auto Pipe Line Cutting Machine allows us to greatly reduce our cutting and prep time. With the ability to cut 3” to 36” pipe and a cut and bevel time of 37 seconds for a standard weight 16” piece of carbon steel pipe, we are able to complete jobs quicker and reduce your cost.
We have a number of end prep tools to make compound bevels, J bevels, and back bores. When the specification calls for orbital welding that is not a problem as we own an orbital welding machine and numerous orbital band cutters. All of this helps us to be as efficient and cost effective as possible while producing quality work for you. We can assist you utilizing shop fabrication, or by doing work on your job-site. We have welding service trucks available for responsive on-site work in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
Welding Qualifications & ASME Code Work
Our welders are certified through ASME Section IX, the most stringent requirements in the industry, and are approved by the State of Ohio. While undergoing vigorous ASME welding procedure inspections we maintain the following ASME code welding stamps:
- "U" stamp to manufacture and assemble unfired pressure vessels
- "R" stamp to perform alterations and repairs to power boilers and pressure vessels
- "PP" stamp to fabricate and assemble pressure piping
Process Construction, Inc. is certified to build, repair, and alter pressure vessels and repair and alter boilers per ASME Section VIII, and NBIC pressure vessel codes. We are also certified to fabricate and install pressure piping per ASME B31.1 and B31.3 piping codes.
We have weld procedures for the following materials: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Chrome Moly P-11/P-22/P-91, Nickel 200/201, Monel 400 & R-405, Hastelloy (all alloys), Nicofer 6025HT, CyTemp CY-40, VDM 59, SM2060Mo, AllCorr, CRHC2000, CRM21, SM2050, SM2550, Inconel (all alloys), Carpenter 20, 20Mo6, HR120, SM2035, Haynes Alloy 20, AL6X, AL6XN, JS700, Incoloy (all alloys), VDM 1925, 25-6Mo
Modular Construction / Skids
Our fabrication shop is well versed at handling modular, skid-mounted fabrication work. We are also experienced at handling the multiple skills needed to provide you with a turnkey solution to your modular fabrication project.
All of our shop fabrication goes through a series of checks to ensure dimensional accuracy, completeness, weld quality, and conformance to the design and specifications. The finished product then undergoes testing as specified by the customer. Typical tests utilized in our shop include: x-ray, dye-penetrant checks, hydrostatic and pneumatic testing for piping systems as well as point-to-point checks for instrumentation and electrical work. We can put together complete test packages at the onset of the project for review and agreement by the owner.
To assist in fabrication of modular units, we provide our own piping drawings. Our draftsmen are well aware of the unique requirements of modular construction. Our customers find our drawings to be quite helpful in verifying their process design, layout, field conditions and as-built drawings.
